Tour Down Under came to its end this morning with the Adelaide City Council Street Circuit, 90 kilometres divided in twenty 4.5 kilometres circuits.
The race was extremely fast, with continuous attacks, the last, by Wes Sulzberger (Française des Jeux), Trent Lowe (Garmin-Transitions) and Fabio Sabatini (Liquigas-Doimo) being caught in the final lap.
It was thus a pack sprit again, won by Aussie Chris Sutton (Team Sky) ahead of team mate New Zealander Greg Henderson and another Aussie, Graeme Brown (Rabobank). Robbie finished 4th, ahead of German's Andre Greipel (HTC-Columbia), confirming thus his final victory in the first Pro Tour stage race. Robbie is also 4th overall !
