Stage four of Tour Down Under linked Norwood with Goolwa over 150 kilometres, with all difficulties in the first part of the stage, the final 60 kilometres being over more or less flat terrain.

The whole stage was hampered by a strong head wind which did not keep six riders to break away from the peloton. They were caught with 15 kilometres to go, the finish seeing once again a general sprint.

Greipel took his third win, ahead of Robbie and Graeme Brown (Rabobank). 

Greipel will start tomorrow with 20" advantage tot Robbie.
