Stage two of Tour of Algarve linked Lagoa to Lagos over 183 kilometres, with three 3rd category ascents in the early part of the distance.
The stage was concluded with a bunch sprint won by Koldo Fernandez (Euskatel) ahead of Portuguese Manuel Antonio Cardoso (Liberty Seguros) and German Gerald Ciolek (Team Milram), our Robbie taking 6th.
Fernandez takes the leader's jersey from Heinrich Haussler.
