Tour Down Under is already halfway. Today's third stage linked Unley to Victor Harbor over136 kilometres, with two hilly sections on the way.
The race had to do with a strong headwind, which caused several crashes. This way, we had a 16-wheel attack, which had up to 1'45" on the peloton.
But a reaction by Rabobank operated the regrouping after some 100 km. The peloton accelerated in the finale and a 50-man pack was leading the race. They sprinted for the victory and which resulted in a complete Aussie podium, Graeme Brown (Rabobank) winning ahead of Allan Davis (Quick.Step) and Stuart O'Grady (Team Saxo Bank). Robbie finished 90th in a second group.
Allan Davis remains overall leader, with Brown in second spot with the same time.
