Robbie has had to forfeit for the Franco - Belge this week due to illness.

Robbie started to come down with bronchitis on the Friday before the World Championships in Varese and has now had to take a course of antibiotics and miss the Franco - Belge stage race.

He will resume full training on Saturday so he can be ready for his last European race this season, Paris - Tours on October 12th.

Robbie will make his last Belgian appearance in the jersey of Silence-Lotto this Sunday October 5th at the farewell criterium of his teammate Wim Vansevenant in Eernegem.
