Today's stage at tour de Romandie ran around Porrentruy.
The racers had 171 km to do, with two 1st category ascents. The top of the last hill, col de la Croix, was at 14 km of the finish.
The race was animated by a long attack of two men, who stayed 135 km in front.
The were caught at the col de la Croix, where the peloton broke into three parts, a group of 7 taking the lead, including two men of Robbie's team, Cadel Evans and Chris Horner.
Those two did it very well, Chris Horner won the stage with a small gap to the others. The second Davitamon-Lotto Pro Tour win in a row !!! Robbie ended 117th. |
